Over the past few months, the dedicated team at penny’s have been collaborating closely with stoberry park school in wells, Somerset. Together, they have been working on the exciting project of designing and constructing a brand new sand pit specifically for the children to enjoy and play in. Phase 1 of this project involved a supply of a mini excavator and labour to dig a fair sized hole on the school playing fields.

The second phase of the project picked up momentum as the weather improved and penny’s delivered 12 tons of sand to the site. Some of penny’s employees from the office even lent a hand, joining in to help shovel and wheelbarrow the sand into the sand pit. With the sunny weather finally here, Penny’s hope that the children will have a blast playing in their new sand pit, making new memories and enjoying the fresh air and warmth.

Recently Pennys Group also supplied Stoberry Park school with 60 Hi-Viz’s These vests will be used regularly on school trips and visits to local schools and churches, prioritizing the safety of the children in the local community.
