Penstone Farm Learning Centre – Bug Hotel

Pennys, has generously provided 15 pallets and materials to the students of Penstone Farm Learning Centre for their special project of producing bug hotels in celebration of Insect Week. Recognizing the importance of fostering curiosity and hands-on learning, Pennys allocated three of their employees from the office to assist in facilitating this exciting undertaking. The pallets, sourced from Pennys’ depot in Green Ore, were carefully transported and delivered to the eager students at the learning centre.

Witnessing the students’ enthusiasm upon receiving the necessary materials to construct bug hotels was truly rewarding for all involved. Pennys sincerely hopes that the students thoroughly enjoy the process of building these innovative habitats, cultivating both their creativity and their appreciation for the natural world.

A forthcoming initiative at Penstone Farm’s educational centre in Cheddar involves the establishment of a mud kitchen to enhance student engagement and learning opportunities. The team at Pennys Group is excited to contribute their expertise by supplying high-quality materials and overseeing the construction of this innovative addition. This collaborative effort between Penstone Farm and Pennys Group underscores their shared commitment to fostering a dynamic and interactive environment for students to explore and grow through hands-on experiences.
