In October 2023, Pennys Group, in collaboration with ISG and various other supply chain partners, participated in the initial phase of the transformation  project for a former toilet block situated in Avonmouth. Our team contributed by providing a dedicated supervisor to oversee the demolition and removal of urinals, dismantling of wooden stall dividers, extraction of toilets, knocking down walls, clearing out all debris, and finally installing two security doors to secure the new storage unit for Bristol Northwest Foodbank.

Pennys Group provided a 8 yard skip for disposal needs and ensured prompt delivery and collection on the same day. The skip was then efficiently transported to our waste depot situated in Green Ore, where it was properly disposed of in accordance with environmental regulations. We hope that once the foodbank has successfully secured a longer lease on the building, we will be able to provide our assistance with phase 2 of this project. This means extending our support to not only the current foodbank but also to other local foodbanks in the community, in order to further our impact and help those in need.
